Intuitive Business Guidance

Fewer people than ever are seeing creator-made content on social media and engagement is down across the board. This statistically affects accounts with a much larger number of followers, as small businesses and smaller accounts can have the same or better ratio of ‘likes to followers’. What this shows us that less is more, and a more authentic online presence these days is about quality over quantity – quality of followers, posts and engagement over purely the numbers game. Chasing algorithms and trying to mimick popular post/reel formats and performing to try to get noticed is exhausting and unnecessary, it’s a waste of energy and quickly leads to burnout or feeling disheartened. Meeting and embodying the spirit/energy of your business/offerings, and being visible in a way that is comfortable for you can help to attract clients who match or are looking for the energy of what you offer. It’s is far more authentic and sustainable way of engaging online. Utilising Reiki Drum Journeying techniques and my experience in marketing, I can help you see any elements within your offering/business and online presence that you may have missed and areas that can be brought into greater alignment with the spirit/energy of your business and what you are offering.

The Oak & Holly Queens: A Reimagining of a Summer Solstice Offering Ritual

This is a reimagining of the traditional tale of the battle of the Oak and Holly Kings. In British folklore, particularly neo-pagan mythology, the Oak King and Holly King are symbolic figures who rule over the waxing and waning halves of the year. Even though the ‘battle’ between the kings is obviously symbolic and both are interconnected, I felt the symbolism of battling Kings, given the currently climate and world events, no longer resonated, so I decided to reimagine the tale as a meeting of two sister Queens.

Summer Solstice: The Unfolding of Potential

At this turning point in the wheel of the year, the Summer Solstice invites us into fullness. The sun, at its highest and brightest, lingers in the sky, bathing everything in light. It’s a moment of pause, of ripening, of gratitude for all that’s come before, of nature’s radiant abundance. It’s a time for celebrating all we’ve achieved so far, as nature continues reaching its full potential over the next six weeks until the harvests seasons begin. Then everything slows down and we’ll be we’ll be acutely aware of the shortening days by then. We can tap into the energy of the Summer Solstice as an energy of becoming rather than a time of more doing.

Rosemary & The Magician

As you can see, rosemary's energy, qualities and correspondences span all four elements and therefore all four Tarot suits, so it becomes a versatile magical tool, just like array of tools on the Magician's table. Rosemary could be substituted for either tool, energy or attribute, and indeed, it is often used as a substitute for other herbs in things like rituals and incense recipes.

The Spring Equinox – Balance and Renewal

We can use the energy of this time of pause, balance, reset and renewal in ceremony and ritual. The Spring or Vernal Equinox is also now known as Ostara. When considering what 'seeds' we wanted to nurture in ourselves the coming year, we were clear that this doesn’t have to be about external goals or be achievement-based, in can be about nurturing a new way of 'being'. We considered what qualities we wished to embody and how we might bring them into being.
